As in previous years, numerous doctors came again to Ayder University Hospital in Mekelle - Tigray (four cardiologists, two pulmonologists, an abdominal surgeon, a gastroenterologist, an ENT specialist and an internist) together with an endoscopy nurse and a radiological technical assistant (specialist for magnetic resonance imaging at heart). They have given numerous highly specialized lectures to the already familiar medical specialists, assistant doctors and medical students in various areas and have carried out practical exercises and instructions for complex new procedures.
The cardiologists extended their stay at Ayder Hospital for a week or two.
